Desroches Island powered down for Earth Hour 2014
Desroches Island is wholly committed to the environment and by shutting down their generators on the island for one hour between 8.30pm and 9.30pm; it saved hundreds of litres of fuel from being burned. To celebrate Earth Hour 2014, an evening of fire lit festivities took place on the island for guests to enjoy. Keen to preserve its natural environment and the flora and fauna on the island, Desroches supports action against climate change.
